When Oxygen Meets Vinyl
When vinyl is exposed to oxygen, a natural process called oxidation occurs. Electrons strip from molecules, forming corrosive blotches.

Oxidation Is Unsightly and Damaging.
You can tell oxidation is there when you rub your finger on your siding, and a chalky substance comes off. Your siding will likely look dull and faded. The darker the paint is, the more noticeable it will be.

We recommend you remove oxidation at least once a year. If you don't, you'll need to make more expensive repairs down the line. Oxidation deteriorates exterior paint, causing it to flake off in a powdery substance. If you add mold to the mix, the vinyl will become even more brittle.

Luckily, we're offering a new oxidation removal service! It's a time-consuming process that starts with loosening the oxidation with a chemical. Before it dries, we rinse it off. If the oxidation is severe, we work a soft-bristled brush on the siding.
